I currently work for the Digital Research team at the University of Tasmania. I have two roles Secnior HPC Systems Engineer and Digital Research Networks Architect. I have been in these roles since 2017.

Music : I play trombone and euphonium and most recently have performed in Glenorchy City Concert Brass C grade band, Matthew Ives and his Big Band, Southern Lights Big Band. I can also make a tune with piano and guitar but not to a public performance level.
Reading: Favourite authors are J.R.R.Tolkien, Raymond Feist, Stephen Donaldson, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C Clarke, Terry Pratchett, Markus Zusak.
Sport: Have played hockey, netball, touch football, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair netball, skiing.
Crafts: Wood and metal work with a particular focus on Japanese wood crafts.
Favourite international destination is Japan. Great people, great food and culture.
